Welcome to GameStrata, online community for video game players where users can setup a profile, view their current game-related statistics, search game leaderboards and rankings, display their favorite games, post videos, ask questions to the community, connect their profile with friends and meet new people with similar gaming profiles and tastes. The founders, directors and employees of GameStrata take your privacy very seriously. We have outlined our privacy guidelines below for your review.

When you register to become a member of GameStrata, you submit personally identifiable information such as your name, age and email address. As part of your personal profile, you may choose to submit additional information such as gender, location, interests, gamertags and other content, such as photos, videos or similar content.
We also collect other non-personally identifiable data, which may include your IP address and what browser you are using.
We will display your personal information on your profile and elsewhere on the site according to the preferences you set in your account where it may be seen by other members or non-members. As with any online service, we encourage users to think carefully about what personal information they will disclose on their profile.
We may use your information such as your age, zip code or IP address, to statistically analyze site usage and to customize our site's content, layout and services. The resulting information will allow us to improve our site and better understand and serve our users.
We may share your information with third-party service providers including advertisers to help us provide or improve the service. See below for a description of advertising policies.
We may also aggregate your gaming information with similar users as it relates to your gamertags or gamer ID’s, the games you are playing and corresponding information generated from your online gaming activity to provide analytical and game intelligence information back to designated partners, including video game publishers.
Finally, we will disclose your personally identifiable information if we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law, regulation or other government authority or to protect the rights and property of GameStrata, its affiliates or the public. We may also cooperate with law enforcement agencies in any official investigation and we may disclose your personally identifiable information to the relevant agency in doing so.
You can review and revise your personal profile at any time. To access, review and/or revise your personal profile, click on your “My Profile” page from your corresponding “MyStrata” page once you have logged in to the site and services.
By default, we will send you weekly updates of various site information including new movies or quizzes of the week, a variety of transactional emails such as when users post comments to your profile and the occasional site announcement.
You have full control regarding which of these emails you want to receive. To change your options, simply click "My Profile" from your corresponding “MyStrata” page.
GameStrata is intended to be a place to share movie ratings and reviews with friends. We hope you will like the site and invite others to join you!
Inviting friends to GameStrata is always completely optional. When you choose to invite friends, we will send an email to the addresses you enter indicating that it is a message from you. We will share your name and email address with anyone you invite so that they know who the invitation is coming from. If a friend does not respond to the initial invitation after a little while, we will send up to two reminder messages on your behalf.
For your convenience, GameStrata offers the ability to import email addresses from common address books such as Hotmail/Yahoo/Gmail/AOL. If you choose to use this feature, we will access your address book using the login details that you provide. We access your address book only once to retrieve your friends' information so that you may select whom to invite. We do not store your login details nor do we use them for any other purpose then to retrieve your contacts. We never send invitations to contacts you do not explicitly select and your invitations are the only email we will ever send to your friends unless they register to join the site.
If you have accidentally sent invitations you did not intend, please notify us immediately and we may cancel any erroneous message.
Children under the age of thirteen (13) are not eligible to use our service. If we become aware that any user is under the age of 13, we cancel their account and delete all of their personal information.

Cookies are a standard Internet technology, and many major web sites use them to provide useful features for their members. Cookies allow us to store and retrieve login information on a user's system. They provide us with data that we can use to improve the quality of our service and make it easier to use. You always have the option to cancel your membership at any time. If you are a member and no longer wish to participate in the site and services of GameStrata you can sign in to the site and click on the 'Edit My Profile' at the top of your ‘MyStrata’ page; then select 'cancel account' and follow the instructions presented to you to terminate you membership. As a reminder, if you do cancel your membership with GameStrata, you may still access certain services offered but you will experience will be limited.
