Yes you'll be able to kick batman ass with scorpion, it's going to be have the classic mortal kombat characters put up against the DC comics stars, Batman, Superman etc. set to be released this fall.

"Johnny Cage is not afraid to die!" lol. -scorpion rules all!!!!!!- i hope it picks back up on an arcade feel. shaolin monks was the last one to do that since mk trilogy and it wasn't even in the same league, that was a whole new genre. but from the looks of it it sounds like it may achieve that. let's cross our fingers. the aerial combat sounds like a good idea but then again so did the idea for different platforms to which you could hit someone down to. i didn't like it! it seemed like i would have the person in the danger zone and would be doin all kinds of attacks and not hitting my friend into it he turns and basicly just flicks me and i get sent for damage. i hope this installment isn't like that or i will have broken controllers lol . the last few were so awful that i wouldn't even trade them in. to me they should have came with a hammer. smashy smashy

I think this is a great idea! I just hope that the execution of the overall game is superb. This is what makes some games great, fresh ideas that keep people, excuse me, GAMERS coming back for more and appreciate what they like about a certain series. Heres to Midway for the great idea!

Mortal Kombat should do what the New Street Fighter is doing, getting 3D Graphics but sticking to 2D Gameplay

Hopefully they bring back the original Fatality formula. Hopefully this will not be lame.
