Anyone playing this? If so whats it like?

It's.... complicated. I really like the core ideas and it does manage to feel like a spiritual sequel to Diablo, but it's still (even months after release) really buggy, and it was fundamentally broken in some areas for at least several weeks after the launch. That's pretty unforgivable.

I thought it sucked, I was done with it after 10 minutes

I won the game from a Kotaku contest and it is sitting on my PC desk unopened collecting dust....

I thought the game was a lot of fun, i subscribed for a month but canceled after that cause i didnt really see the benefit. Many told me it was going to be the next diablo. Great game but did not hold my attention for 2 years like diablo.

Frankly i hated it. The plot was so weak it was impossible to get into it much less understand it and the number of bugs in single player alone makes me dread what multiplayer must be like. And frankly the Graphics were horrible compared to the specs it required.

I love it, i am still playing and i got it about a week after it came out. if you like diablo you should like this. although alot do not, but i do :P

I thought it looked bad graphically. Is this a MMO?

Blizzard is making Diablo 3 like WoW but its darker and mid evil like it should be.

But hellgate was fun...you just gotta have friends who will play with you so you can lvl up fast

I enjoyed Hellgate for a couple of months. The weapons were great as were the classes. I then became bored with it because the environment was to similar and rarely changed.

I tought it was great, i played it for 100+ hours.. Tricking out your Avitor was the best part, Should b played in the thirdperson tho, not a FPS by any means.

I was disappointed in the environment as well as character uniqueness. All of the armor, weapons, and levels just started to look too familiar.

it's a great game but i just found out they are havein some problems like flagship is goin out of business and stuff so no1 knows the future of hellgate which sucks if u ask me
