Friend is always a more reliable source then the others you named, considering they have vested intrest most of the time

The internet just because its always up to date, a magazine can be weeks old with their information. for example i got my gameinformer today and they stated that prototype was coming out in september of 08, when it just got pushed back to 09, mind you its not their fault but i do like to stay up to date with my information.

magazine. the internet is too full of rumors that never happen. it generally seems that magazines at least try to find fact before publishing. as for friends most of them arent reliable enough. i remember when half of them were stoked waiting for the wii balls controllers, it was a gameinfarcer joke about a wii controller that was like a nutsack and they couldnt figure out it was a joke for a long time. thus i am skeptic when they tell me something. a few friends are reliable though.

I read Game Informer at work and it is actually an excellent mag for info. I also check a bunch of gaming sites on a regular basis just so I can stay up to date on all the gaming news for all platforms.

I get my gaming information from Gameinformer and Gamefaqs.com. It depends on what information I was trying to get though. If I want to know about upcoming games I would go to gameinformer but if I need help beating a level I go to Gamefaqs so Idk I guess it just depends.
