I've been playing a lot of GH3 this weekend, and I totally sprained my "yellow button" finger. Now whenever I use my left ring finger, it sends blinding, white hot pain straight up my arm. Who else has sustained GH related injuries?

lol, GH wreaks havoc on my carpal tunnel. Take Kaiser's suggestion and rest it a few days, it should be alright by then. I know this contest has had us all WAY overusing our hands lol

I have had this happen a few times with music related games (GH3 and RB). Back in the 80s when I first started gaming this was referred to as "Nintendo Thumb".

Just sounds like your using those muscles too much, but if you notice it hurting on a constant basis you might have pinched a nerve in which case go see a doctor. I played Bass in Jazz band for over 4 years so playing GH/RB is more like light practice for me, just keeping the muscles warmed up. Longest set we ever played was for over 3 hours with 25 min break for the local VFW/POW on veterans day.

Dude, I suggest that you just relax your hand a little bit. I only feel soreness after Kinghts of Cydonia.

Ha...someone asked a question the other day in regards to 'gaming injuries'. I guess this qualifies. That sucks...shooting pain is never a good thing. I used to get pain in my wrist and hands from playing GH but it was merely overuse. A few days of rest and I was back in the game.
